Even if soulmates were real, I doubt he’d make me as happy as my relationship with free food makes me.
It was an experience to approach fashion the same way I do in my documentary work.

Nike Drop an All-Time Classic Super Eagles Kit
Beyond the home kit which follows the standard Nike template for most of their jerseys, regardless of sport, Nigeria’s World Cup collection is wonderful.
The away kit pays homage to the country’s inaugural 1994 World Cup threads but adds dynamic chevrons to convey an even greater sense of movement. It also stands out from other kits by choosing creativity and action over minimalism, creating an immediate on-field identity that is light years ahead of a standard all-white shirt.
The kits are great, but the best part of this collection is the non-playing apparel.
The long sleeve black shirt with green chevron prints, the black jacket and track pants with green floral design, the white jacket and bucket hat (which reverses into all-green) with black prints, and the white and green shirt with “Naija” across the chest. The decision to go all in on the design, even if the chevron prints might seem too much, comes in startling contrast to the current direction of sports design.
It’s a breath of fresh air.
Finally, we have a unique collection. Even if it’s inspired by something earlier, this collection of must-have items will be remembered as one of the best for years to come.

Archive | Self-portrait: ‘Butterfly’ (2014)
LISTEN: I just snuck back, posting on Tumblr like I never left. Let’s see: crawling out of work and digital detox has been something else the past two weeks. I have had to enter my password three times, some passwords I forgot entirely!!!I made a promise to myself last year that once I completed my degrees last May, I would head back to Nigeria and stay the longest I ever have stayed since leaving nearly 18 years ago.
I’m happy to share with you all that I just concluded a nearly 5-month trip back Home in Nigeria. The most fond moment yet, is getting to spend my birthday here for the first time since 1999 along with plenty other wonderful memories. My birthday fell on my literal birthday: Wednesday, Nov 8th.
I am reminded of this self-portrait and my commitment to transition(s) and transformation. Especially, how it pours into and guides my work. I am grateful to have mindfully and intently achieved my current mindscape, and I look forward to unfolding, accordingly.Well. New year and works to share. And, of course some great news!!!!!! So I want to say: thank you to those who looked for me, and those who are SO patient with me (and my process).
